Meet the Team
Abby Weiss, M.S., CCC-SLP
Lead Speech-Language Pathologist, Owner
Hello, I'm Abby, a licensed and ASHA board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with dual licensure in California and Illinois. Originally from the Chicagoland area, I ventured to the west coast following my graduate studies. My therapeutic approach emphasizes individualized care, blending play-based and routines-based interventions within a family-centered framework. Together with families, I foster speech and language development through engaging activities such as play, routines, yoga, mindfulness, and reflective caregiver practices.
My professional journey spans various settings, including private practice clinics, schools, and in-home early intervention services. I take great pleasure in empowering parents to forge deeper connections with their children while facilitating progress towards their communication goals.
I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). My academic background includes a B.S. in Speech & Hearing Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Saint Xavier University in Chicago.
In addition to my clinical expertise, I am a Certified PESL Accent & Pronunciation Instructor accredited by ILP Academy - Institute of Language & Phonology. Furthermore, I have completed over 250 hours of Yoga Teacher Training and hold a Kids Yoga Certification from Rainbow Kids Yoga.
